Connect is a work especially written for 'Orkest De Ereprijs', a large diverse ensemble with brass and wind instruments, piano, guitars and percussion. Connect was performed as part of 'SonsbeekFestival' in Arnhem. The work is a pasacaglia, it has a repeated bass-motive which is colored by different other motives. The name Connect is based on the connection between the repeated motives. Sometimes a very thin tone can be such a connection or even a larger percussion solo.
